Privacy Policy — Swift Numbers

‍ ‍

Effective date: July 16, 2026

‍ ‍

Swift Bookkeeping & More LLC, doing business as Swift Numbers ("Swift Numbers," "we," "us"), of Austin, Texas, provides bookkeeping and accounting services. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, protect, and share information — through our website (swiftnumbers.com), in the course of providing our services, and through our internal software tools, including tools that connect to QuickBooks® Online.

‍ ‍

1. Information We Collect

From website visitors: contact information you submit through our contact forms (name, email address, phone number, message contents).

‍ ‍

From clients: information needed to provide bookkeeping services, which may include business and personal contact details, financial records, bank and credit card transaction data, payroll information, sales records, and accounting data held in systems such as QuickBooks Online, point-of-sale platforms, and related services.

‍ ‍

Through authorized software connections: when a client engages us, we may access their accounting data through authorized connections (such as the QuickBooks Online API) strictly to perform the services they've engaged us for — for example, retrieving financial data to prepare monthly reports.

‍ ‍

2. How We Use Information

‍We use information solely to: provide the bookkeeping and accounting services our clients engage us for; prepare financial reports and communicate about them; respond to inquiries; meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations; and operate and improve our services.

‍ ‍

3. What We Don't Do

We do not sell personal or client information. We do not share client financial data with third parties for marketing. We do not use client accounting data for any purpose other than serving that client.

‍ ‍

4. Sharing

We share information only: with service providers used to deliver our work (such as accounting software platforms), under confidentiality obligations; when a client directs us to; with professional advisors (such as a client's CPA or attorney) at the client's request; or when required by law.

‍ ‍

5. Data Security

We protect information using measures appropriate to a professional financial services firm, including multi-factor authentication on our accounts, encrypted storage of access credentials, and restriction of access to authorized personnel. Client data accessed through software connections (including QuickBooks Online) is used only within our systems and workflows for that client's engagement.

‍ ‍

6. Data Retention

We retain client records for as long as needed to provide services and to meet professional and legal record-keeping requirements, after which they are securely deleted or destroyed.

‍ ‍

7. Your Choices

Clients may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their information (subject to legal retention requirements) by contacting us. If you have authorized a software connection to your accounting data, you may revoke it at any time through your accounting platform's settings.

‍ ‍

8. Third-Party Services

Our website and services may link to or integrate with third-party platforms (such as Intuit QuickBooks). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. QuickBooks and related marks are trademarks of Intuit Inc.

‍ ‍

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted at this page with its effective date.
